Recognizing Children's Gifts (RCG) Behavioral Health Network is an organization that provides services for children between the ages of 2 years old to adolescents that have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Currently, we are recruiting for part-time ABA/Behavioral Therapists in the Greater Richmond (Richmond, Henrico, Hanover), Chesterfield, Chester, and Colonial Heights areas that are able to work 3-5 days a week.
Your primary responsibilities include:
*Provides ABA Therapy Model
*Manages a caseload of client families, providing services on an intensive basis
*Responsible for family training that integrates behavioral modification strategies to be implemented in the home and or natural environment
*Prepares written service plan, incorporating input from clients, involved service providers, and wraparound team members, and clearly identifying problem areas and needs, strategies, and service objectives
*Provides direct services to clients
*Documents case activities for both clinical and billing purposes
*Collaborates and coordinates with other case involved service providers and professionals,
*Works with Behavior Analyst to increase the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
*Availability between 2 p.m.-7:30 p.m. for 3-5 days a week and at least 1-2 Saturday's per month (hours are 9-2).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent credits from an accredited school/college of social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, or related field; with one year experience working with children.Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge of developmental disabilities and Autism; ABA Therapy; youth and family counseling; working knowledge of human services system, roles of human services personnel, and relevant community resources; ability to maintain effective working relationships with other social services providers, service purchasers, and clients; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
